Standing Advisory Groups
In addition to the four themed Strategic Delivery Partnerships of ONE HULL (Earning, Learning, Health and Wellbeing and Safe) the Partnership recognises that there are many other issues which cut across the work of all our partners.
In order to ensure that these key cross-cutting themes are embedded in, and addressed by, the work of the whole Partnership, ONE HULL has set up the Standing Advisory Groups
The Standing Advisory Groups are:
- Equalities and Cohesion - ensuring community cohesion and equity of outcomes, while promoting the understanding of diversity – and the benefits diversity brings - across the ONE HULL Partnership.
- Culture and Lifestyle - ensuring that the City’s cultural offering is capitalised upon and utilised to help deliver the Partnership’s aims and objectives.
- Environment and Climate Change – ensuring that key environment and climate change issues identified by the City are considered and addressed when partners are delivering on their aims and objectives.
- Citizen Empowerment & Engagement - ensuring compliance with the duty of partners to engage.
Each Standing Advisory Group will:
- Provide expert advice to the family of partnerships on their respective theme;
- Appraise major schemes, initiatives and plans in order to flag up gaps or threats, especially through impact assessment techniques;
- Undertake in depth analysis of factors affecting the City for their respective theme; and
- Develop and deliver key strategies and policies in relation to their respective theme.
